To receive a referral thank you gift, you must have an HSBC Premier relationship in the United States, have provided your name and address with the program materials to your referee and not be an HSBC employee; the individual you refer must not currently hold, nor have held in the past 60 days, an HSBC personal or business account, must open and fully fund a Premier relationship by December 31, 2012, and have provided your name as referrer at account opening. Upon eligibility, you will be notified via mail with instructions for redeeming gift of choice. Eligibility requirements may apply for some gift choices, e.g. Reward Points can only be granted if you are a current HSBC Premier World MasterCard® cardmember. This offer is not redeemable for cash and is non-transferable. Gift selection is subject to availability and may change. If the gift you choose is no longer available, HSBC may substitute a similar product of comparable value. Any gift not redeemed by March 31, 2013, will be forfeited. The cost of the gift will be reported on IRS Form 1099.
