Buying Property at Any Latitude

Buying a home abroad

HSBC gives you the latitude to buy property in different parts of the world, with access to mortgage services as well as services in English. And, with a down payment of 40%1 or more, you can secure pre-approval for up to three mortgages in countries where available.

You will have two options for buying your home:

  1. A home loan secured against your U.S. property so you can pay cash for your home abroad
  2. A mortgage secured against your home abroad from a bank in that country
