So how do you use Bill Pay?
- It's simple. If you're already registered for Personal Internet Banking, just log on and select "Pay Bills."
- Choose 'Add a Payee' from the menu to create your 'payee' list (companies or people you wish to pay). Enter the name, address and account number for each (keep your current bills handy for this purpose). Internet Banking will store your new payee information so you'll only have to enter it once.
- When you want to pay a bill, log on to Internet Banking, select the appropriate 'payee' from your list, then enter the amount and the date you want the payment processed.
- You're done! Your bill payment will be processed on the date you selected.

If you're not yet registered for Personal Internet Banking and Bill Pay:
- Simply click Sign Up to register for Personal Internet Banking and Bill Pay.
- You can receive immediate access to Internet Banking (and your accounts!) if you register using your HSBC ATM, Debit, or HSBC credit card for authentication. During registration, be sure to say "Yes" to the free Bill Pay service so you can start paying your bills online right away.
- If you register using another type of HSBC Bank USA, N.A. account for authentication, you'll receive a confirmation in the mail first before you can begin to use Internet Banking and Bill Pay.
- Once you have your Internet Banking Username and Password, just log on to Internet Banking to perform banking transactions or to pay your bills by simply selecting "Pay Bills" from the menu.
- An online Internet Banking Guide is also available to provide instructions for using Internet Banking and Bill Pay.
If you're a Personal Internet Banking customer and wish to add the Bill Pay feature:
- You can add Bill Pay at any time. Simply log on to Internet Banking then select "Pay Bills."
- Follow the simple instructions to add the Bill Pay service.
- Once registered, simply log on to Internet Banking and select 'Add a Payee' from the menu to create your 'payee' list (companies or people you wish to pay). Enter the name, address and account number for each (keep your current bills handy for this purpose). Internet Banking will store your new payee information so you'll only have to enter it once. If you've already registered for Personal Internet Banking and Bill Pay:
- Log on to Internet Banking and select "Pay Bills." With your current bills as reference, create your 'payee' list (companies or people you wish to pay) by entering the name, address and account number for each. Internet Banking will store your new payee information for you so you'll only have to enter it once.
- When you're ready to pay a bill, select the appropriate payee from your list, the payment amounts, and the date you want it processed. Your bill payments are automatically processed on the dates you choose. Be sure to schedule your payments at least 5 business days before the payment due dates.
