HSBC Bank USA, N.A. And Affiliates Lower Prime and Reference Rate

New York - HSBC Bank USA, N.A. and its affiliates announced that they lowered their prime and reference rate to 5.25% from 6.00 % effective today, Tuesday, March 18, 2008.
