New Head of Trade and Supply Chain Announced for North America

William Nowicki named executive vice president of Trade and Supply Chain for HSBC - North America.
HSBC Bank USA, N.A. today announced it has named William Nowicki as executive vice president and head of Trade and Supply Chain for North America. He succeeds James Hogan who has taken another senior management position within HSBC -North America's Commercial Banking unit. Based in New York City, Nowicki reports to Christopher Davies, senior executive vice president and Head of Commercial Banking for HSBC - North America and functionally to Lawrence Webb, Global Head of Trade Services and Supply Chain.
In this role, Nowicki manages a team of bankers serving international corporations with trade and supply chain needs. Drawing upon HSBC's presence in 85 countries and territories and its more than 140 year trade history, the team provides a range of products and services, including open account solutions, trade finance, letters of credit, collections and confirmations.
"Bill's expertise, gained over more than 20 years in this business, combined with HSBC's history in trade will allow us to provide clients with the guidance and expertise they require to navigate an increasingly complex and challenging marketplace," says Christopher Davies. Nowicki brings to HSBC more than 20 years of trade and supply chain experience. Prior to HSBC, he held a variety of senior positions at Citigroup, Standard Chartered and JP Morgan Chase in New York and Singapore. Most recently, he was global head of trade and client delivery at Citigroup. He studied Finance at St. Johns University in New York.
