HSBC Bank Names Jefferson M. Green Senior Vice President and Commercial Executive for Pennsylvania and Delaware Region

Green is responsible for serving the international needs of multinational corporations located in the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey.

New York, NY - (March 3, 2010) - HSBC Bank USA, N.A. today announced the appointment of Jefferson M. Green, Certified Treasury Professional ("CTP"), as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Executive for the Pennsylvania and Delaware region.  Based in Philadelphia, Green is responsible for serving the international needs of multinational corporations located in the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware and Southern New Jersey. He is a key member of HSBC's commercial banking team which spans 63 countries and territories and includes more than 8,500 relationship managers. Green reports to Aimee Daniels, Executive Vice President and Regional President for HSBC's Mid-Atlantic region.

"Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge to this role having served in a variety of positions in international corporate banking. He successfully opened four international corporate banking centers in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. His experience, combined with HSBC's international presence and expertise, will allow us to provide local companies with special insights into doing cross border business," said Aimee Daniels, Executive Vice President and Regional President for the Mid-Atlantic region. "He and our Mid-Atlantic team are well qualified to assist corporations looking to grow their customer base or source products from overseas markets."

Green brings more than twenty two years of banking experience to HSBC. Prior to this, he was a senior vice president and division head for ABN Amro's Mid-Atlantic corporate banking unit. His responsibilities included managing a group of commercial bankers serving the needs of companies with USD $250 million to USD $10 billion in revenues.

Green earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Georgia (Athens, GA). In addition he completed graduate coursework at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) and the University of Georgia. Green is also a board member of The Jeanne Ruddy Dance Company.
