25 January 2011
Brand new state-of-the-art branch premises opens in Middletown.
New York, NY – HSBC Bank USA, N.A, (HSBC) part of one of the world's largest financial services organizations, has officially re-launched itself in the community of Middletown with the opening of brand new state-of-the-art branch premises.
Located at 545 Route 211 East, Middletown, New York, the 3192 square-foot facility features five teller stations, Premier and business banking offices and a 24 hour drive thru ATM, as well off-street parking and the latest in customer-friendly design.
HSBC's Hudson Valley network extends to 12 branches, employing scores of local people and serving tens of thousands of customers. HSBC Group's presence in over 80 countries and territories is well-aligned to Middletown and the Hudson Valley in general, with its growing number of internationally connected businesses and individuals who benefit from both an on-the-ground HSBC branch presence and its extensive global reach.
Operating initially with a staff of 12 locally employed banking professionals, the Middletown branch provides a full range of financial services to both individuals and businesses, including mortgages, loans, wealth management, and insurance. Also offered is Premier1, HSBC's global personal banking service, which provides international recognition, worldwide support, a credit card, home-financing options, access to a relationship manager and Global View, a unique service that allows customers to view and manage all of their international Premier accounts in one place.
Branch manager, Sean Stewart, has made a career in banking and has worked in relationship and business banking roles across the Hudson Valley for a number of years. Sean and team are able to serve customers in Spanish, Greek, Italian and Yoruba as well as English. Between them they offer more than 100 years worth of combined banking experience.
This morning, HSBC will mark the occasion of its Middletown branch opening with a grand opening ceremony for customers and prospects as well as local dignitaries. During the event, a check for $3000 will be presented to a Middletown-based charity, Action Toward Independence2. Funds will be used to support a drop-in center promoting skills development for local people.
Andy Ireland, Upstate Regional President, HSBC Bank USA, N.A., said, "Middletown, with its increasing international connections, was the obvious place in which to enhance our Hudson Valley branch network. As 'The world's local bank', we fully understand the importance of serving the Middletown community locally while helping them to make the most of opportunities globally."
Stephen McLaughlin, Executive Director, Action Toward Independence, said, "We're extremely pleased to have been recognized in this way by HSBC Bank USA. This generous donation will be used to support locally-based skills development programs."
