HSBC Global Asset Management Appoints Angelo Pirri to West Coast Sales Position

New York, NY - HSBC Global Asset Management (USA) Inc. today announced that Angelo Pirri has joined as Vice President, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Sales based in San Francisco.

In this newly created role, Angelo will be responsible for distributing HSBC Global Asset Management's range of emerging market and international investment products through RIAs, Trust Companies, Private Banks and Family Offices on the West Coast. Angelo reports to Damion Hendrickson, Senior Vice President and National Head of RIA Sales at HSBC Global Asset Management.

Angelo has more than 20 years of financial services experience and has spent more than a decade working directly with the RIA channel. He was most recently with Direxion, where he was Director of Sales. Angelo has previously worked at other leading firms including Deutsche Bank, Julius Baer Investment Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

In the past two years, HSBC Global Asset Management has launched five 40-Act emerging market mutual funds for U.S. investors, including the flagship HSBC Total Return Fund which has attracted more than $500 million since launch in March 2012.
