Account Opening Next Steps

Please have the following information when you visit the branch:

  1. Tax Identification Numbers (TIN and SSN)
  2. The date your business was established
  3. Copies of appropriate business filing documents (varies depending on how your business is organized)
  4. Authorized signer's address information (home and business)
  5. Copies of current state driver's license or government issued ID for all signers

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien with a U.S. address and tax identification number to apply online.

Non-U.S. businesses

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person or entity that opens an account. We ask a number of questions to ensure the identity of everyone attempting to open a personal account, including:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Taxpayer identification number
  • Date of birth

We also verify your identity by asking for your driver's license or other identifying documents or checking other sources. Similar identification requirements apply to non-personal accounts such as corporations and partnerships.
