Once you apply

The HSBC Debit MasterCard® Card application takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. You will receive a confirmation email once your application is submitted. Once we have received your application, we will mail your card(s) within 7-10 business days.

Information You Will Need

To apply for an HSBC Debit MasterCard® card, please have the following information at hand:

  • Your HSBC personal checking account number (required)
  • Your HSBC personal savings account number, if you are also linking a savings account for ATM access
  • Your current HSBC ATM access card number and expiration date (if applicable)
  • Your current email address
  • Your current mailing address for account validation
  • Name of joint accountholder, if you are requesting a card for them. Cards will be issued only to accountholders whose names are listed on the checking or savings account

Similar identification requirements apply to non-personal accounts such as corporations and partnerships.
