Global travel insurance
With the HSBC Premier World MasterCard®, you can access a comprehensive package of Global Travel Services and benefits, including $1,000,000 USD (or local currency equivalent) in Travel Accident Insurance through MasterRental® Insurance1.
Emergency financial assistance for travelers
Wherever you travel, we'll be there to assist you. As an HSBC Premier client, you can have your HSBC Premier World MasterCard® credit card instantly canceled and replaced with a temporary credit card the next day if it is lost or stolen, in most cases.
With an HSBC Premier relationship, you can even receive up to U.S. $2,000 emergency cash (or local currency equivalent) if you need it, or up to U.S. $500 in emergency cash with an HSBC Advance banking relationship.2

The HSBC Premier Debit MasterCard® card allows you to make purchases from your checking account everywhere MasterCard® is accepted – with no foreign transaction fees. It's safer than carrying cash and faster than writing checks, and you can access HSBC ATMs worldwide, most with no withdrawal fees.4

To find out what may have changed, call 1-800-395-2120. The variable Purchase APR applies to credit card purchases and is 11.99%. The variable Balance Transfer APR applies to balance transfers and credit card checks and is 11.99%. The variable Cash APR applies to cash advances and overdrafts and is 24.99%. Your APRs may increase to the variable Penalty APR of 29.99% if you fail to make a minimum payment to us when due. These APRs will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate. For each billing cycle, variable APRs are calculated by adding a specified amount ("Spread") to the U.S. Prime Rate published in the Money Rates table of The Wall Street Journal that is in effect on the last day of the month ("Prime Rate"). If the Prime Rate changes, the new APRs will take effect on the first day of your billing cycle beginning in the next month. The Minimum Interest Charge is $0.50. A Cash Advance Fee of either $5 or 3%, whichever is greater, maximum $50 fee, will apply on each cash advance transaction. A Balance Transfer Fee of either $5 or 3%, whichever is greater, maximum $50 fee, will apply on each balance transfer and credit card check transaction. There is no Annual Fee, Overdraft Transaction Fee, or Foreign Transaction Fee.
We may change the terms on your Account. This may include changing, adding, or removing terms. We may do this in response to the legal, business, competitive environment or other reasons not listed here. Changes to some terms may require at least 45 days advance notice, and we will tell you in the notice if you have the right to reject a change. We cannot change certain terms during the first year of your Account.
4 ATM transaction fees will not be charged at any HSBC-globally branded ATM with the exception of transactions initiated in the following countries: Argentina, Bermuda, France, Greece, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand and Turkey. However, foreign currency conversion rates may still apply to all transactions.
