With HSBC Mobile Check Deposit, now available on the HSBC Mobile Banking App, you can deposit a check directly into your eligible HSBC checking or savings account via iPhone, iPad, Android, Fire, or BlackBerry devices.

Already have the HSBC Mobile Banking App?
To deposit a check, follow these easy instructions:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HSBC Mobile Banking App
- Log on to the app
- Tap "Check Deposit" on the main menu under "Banking."
- Tap "Pay check into" to select the HSBC account you want to deposit the check into, then enter the value of the check into the "Amount" section.
- To take a picture, place the check face up on a dark background, rotate your phone, and press the camera icon. Make sure that all four corners of the check are inside the red box.
Important: HSBC can only accept photos that are sharp and clear and show all four corners of the check.
- Then take a photo of the back of your check. Follow the same process you used to take a photo of the front of the check. Be sure the check is properly endorsed.
- Tap "Continue" to verify the check amount and the account if will be deposited into.
- Tap "Deposit Now" and your deposit is done.

In order to view your accounts via the HSBC Mobile Banking App and use HSBC Mobile Check Deposit, you need to be registered for HSBC Personal Internet Banking.
