To qualify for an HSBC Advance relationship, you need to open an HSBC Advance checking account and maintain combined U.S. personal deposit and investment balances of at least $10,000 OR at least $5,000 with a recurring direct deposit from a third party to an HSBC Advance checking account at least once per monthly cycle. Business owners may use their HSBC commercial balances to qualify for a personal HSBC Advance relationship. A monthly maintenance fee of $25 will be incurred if minimum balance or minimum balance with direct deposit requirement is not met.


Requires you be registered for HSBC Personal Internet Banking and have your credentials readily available. Data rate charges from your service provider may apply. HSBC Bank USA, N.A. is not responsible for these charges.


You may be charged additional fees by the ATM operator or network used including a fee by another HSBC entity operating ATMs outside the U.S. Foreign currency conversion rates may still apply.


Available only on U.S. non-HSBC ATM transactions (except in New York State) initiated from HSBC Advance checking, HSBC Advance Savings, and HSBC Promotional Advance Savings. HSBC will rebate up to four qualifying ATM third-party surcharge fees incurred based on transaction date order during the calendar month. The rebate will be credited to your account on the first business day of the following calendar month.


Under the Bill Pay 'on-time' guarantee, HSBC will bear the responsibility for any late-payment-related charges should an online bill payment arrive after its due date as long as you scheduled the transaction in accordance with the HSBC Personal Internet Banking Terms and Conditions. This guarantee does not apply to business clients using Bill Pay.


Global View and Global Transfers are only available for HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance clients and are not available in all countries. Foreign currency exchange rates and local country limitations may apply. Transfers from HSBC accounts from outside the U.S. may be subject to transfer fees. Access to US Personal Internet Banking through Global View from outside the U.S. may be limited.


The maximum outbound and inbound limit for U.S. HSBC accounts is $200,000 per transaction and per day. Other countries may have local limit restrictions. Check with your destination country for limit information.


U.S. Advance customers can obtain up to $2,000 USD or equivalent after authorization by the account holding country. Dependent on your available balance; local country limitations may apply.


International account opening is not available in all countries and is subject to approval based on local regulations and policies of country or application.


Accounts outside the United States may be opened within The HSBC Group, which operates through a network of affiliates and subsidiaries around the world.
