Credit Card/Select Credit Online Account Updates

The way you access your HSBC Credit Card /Select Credit Account(s) online has changed but you'll still have the same services and functionality as before.

Why has my Account(s) been transitioned to a new website?

At HSBC, we are always working to improve the services we provide to you and we make it a priority to ensure that your information is always timely, accurate, and secure. The new website offers you the same online services and functionality you have always enjoyed, with an improved look.

How is my online Account access impacted?

If you have previously accessed your Credit Card and Select Credit Account details through hsbccreditcard.com, the same information is now available through HSBC's Personal Internet Banking. You need to log on to and be registered for Personal Internet Banking to access these Account(s). To register for Personal Internet Banking, please visit us.hsbc.com/onlineaccount.

eStatements

Do my Account(s) remain enrolled in the eStatements service?

  • If you are registered for Personal Internet Banking, your Account(s) are still enrolled in eStatements
  • If you have previously accessed eStatements on hsbccreditcard.com and you are already registered for Personal Internet Banking, your eStatements have been transitioned to Personal Internet Banking.
  • If you have not registered for Personal Internet Banking, you will begin receiving paper statements by postal mail.

Am I still able to view my eStatements online?

Yes, your eStatements can be viewed in a PDF format on Personal Internet Banking. Simply select "eStatements" from the left menu after you log on to Personal Internet Banking. For more information about eStatements, please visit us.hsbc.com/estatements.

Alerts

Do I still have the ability to receive Alerts?

Yes, you still have the ability to set up and receive Alerts via text and/or email through Personal Internet Banking.

Are there any changes to the Alerts service?

The following changes have been made to the Alerts service:

  • The SMS text number you receive the Alerts from had changed to: 315-52.
  • The email address that the Alerts are sent from had changed to: hsbcalerts@alerts.smsservicesnow.com

How do I access Alerts on the new site?

After logging on to Personal Internet Banking, please select your Credit Account, then select "Alerts" from the left menu.

I have a Premier World MasterCard® credit card/Premier Debit MasterCard® card and am enrolled in SMS text and e-mail Alerts. How do I access those Alerts?

Premier World MasterCard® and Premier Debit MasterCard® customers can click the "My Alerts" icon on the Personal Internet Banking Account Summary page. These Alerts remain unchanged and the log on credentials remain the same for www.alerts.hsbcpremier.com

Payments

How do I make a payment to an HSBC Credit Card Account?

You can make a payment to your HSBC Credit Card Account in any of the following ways:

  • Pay online: You may use the transfer functionality in Personal Internet Banking if you have an HSBC Checking or Savings Account. You may also make a payment in Personal Internet Banking by selecting your Credit Card Account. Once you have selected your Credit Card account please click on "Payments" on the left hand side and select "Make a Payment". You can also select "Schedule EZ-Pay" to automate your monthly payments.
  • Pay by phone: HSBC Premier World MasterCard® customers may call 888.662.4722 within the US and Canada or Collect at 716.841.6866; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. HSBC Platinum MasterCard® customers may call 888.385.8916 within the US and Canada or Collect at 716.841.7141; Monday through Sunday 7 a.m. to midnight ET.
  • Pay in a Branch: You may make a payment by visiting any of our HSBC Branches.

Does the Financial Institutions information I have already established need to be set up again?

No. Please be assured that Financial Institution Account(s) information that you have previously set up remain unchanged.

What is the recommended way to send payments to an HSBC Credit Card or Select Credit from an HSBC checking or savings account?

The recommended way to send payments from one HSBC account to another is by using the Transfers feature located on your Personal Internet Banking menu. Transfers are faster and more convenient than paying by check.

Rewards

How do I access my Rewards Program information?

All customers with HSBC Credit Cards that have a Rewards Program are able to access the redemption website by clicking the "My Rewards" icon conveniently located on the Account Summary page within Personal Internet Banking.
