Terms for Adding Your HSBC Card to an E-Wallet

These Terms for Adding Your HSBC Card to an E-Wallet ("E-Wallet Terms") apply when you choose to add a consumer HSBC credit card or debit card issued by HSBC Bank USA, National Association ("HSBC Card") to a Digital Wallet ("E-Wallet"). In these terms, "you" and "your" refer to the cardholder of the HSBC Card, and "we," "us," "our," and "HSBC" refer to HSBC Bank USA, N.A. When you add an HSBC Card to an E-Wallet, you agree to these terms.

Adding Your HSBC Card to an E-Wallet . You can add an eligible HSBC Card to an E-Wallet by following the instructions of the E-Wallet provider. Only HSBC Cards that we tell you are eligible can be added to a particular E-Wallet. If your HSBC Card or underlying account is not in good standing, that HSBC Card will not be eligible to be added to the E-Wallet. When you add an HSBC Card to an E-Wallet, the E-Wallet allows you to use the HSBC Card to enter into transactions where the E-Wallet is accepted. The E-Wallet may not be accepted at all places where your HSBC Card is accepted.

HSBC Is Not Responsible for the E-Wallet. HSBC is not responsible for the E-Wallet. HSBC is not the provider of the E-Wallet, and we are not responsible for providing the E-Wallet service to you. We are only responsible for supplying information to the E-Wallet provider to allow usage of the HSBC Card in the E-Wallet. We are not responsible for any failure of the E-Wallet, or the inability to use the E-Wallet for any transaction. We are not responsible for the performance or nonperformance of the E-Wallet provider or any third parties regarding any agreement you enter into with the E-Wallet provider or associated third party relationships that may impact your use of the E-Wallet.

Keep Your Credentials Secure. You should not allow others to log on to or use your mobile phone or other device if that would mean that they could then use your HSBC Card in the E-Wallet to make transactions. Please ensure that only your security details, fingerprint or other security measure can be used to use your card in the E-Wallet. Keep these details secure and do not share them with others.

E-Wallet Fees. We do not charge you extra for adding your HSBC Card to an E-Wallet or for using your HSBC Card in an E-Wallet. The E-Wallet provider and other third parties, such as mobile phone or wireless companies, data service providers or retailers may charge you for using the E-Wallet or for making transactions using the E-Wallet.

Your HSBC Card Terms Do Not Change. The terms and account agreement that govern your HSBC Card do not change when you add your HSBC Card to an E-Wallet. An E-Wallet is a convenient tool that can allow you to make purchases with the HSBC Card via an eligible mobile phone or other device. Any applicable interest, fees, and charges that apply to your HSBC Card will also apply when you use the E-Wallet to access your HSBC Card. We can block an HSBC Card in the E-Wallet from purchases at any time.

Removing Your HSBC Card from an E-Wallet. Instructions given by the E-Wallet provider will tell you how to remove a card from the E-Wallet. You should contact the E-Wallet provider on how to remove an HSBC Card from the E-Wallet.
