A: The same way you review your HSBC Rewards account today. Simply click ‘My Rewards’ in your Personal Internet Banking account to visit the site.
Q: Will my Points or Cash Rewards convert to the new site?
A: All Rewards will be transferred on a 1-to-1 basis and no Rewards are being devalued. Your Points or Cash Rewards will be worth as much in the new site as they were in the old site. In some cases, they may be worth more!
Q: Will I still be earning Rewards the same way?
A: The Reward earning structure of the HSBC credit cards is not being changed as part of this conversion. However, you will be able to see your Reward earning displayed in a much clearer and more informative way on the new site.
Q: I have an item on my Wish List or in my Shopping Cart. Will that item be transferred over to the new site?
A: No, these items will not be carried over.
Q: Will I still be able to redeem for Travel, Cash Back, Gift Cards, eGift Cards and merchandise?
A: Yes, and we’re improving your redemption experience from what’s currently available today.
Q: Will customers with a Premier World or Premier World Elite Card still be able to use Rewards for Miles to transfer their Rewards to airline partners?
A: Yes, and we are looking to expand our transfer partner options later in the future. Stay tuned!
Q: I have already booked a trip through HSBC Rewards. Will my vacation be impacted?
A: No, travel booked through HSBC Rewards on the old site will not be impacted by this change. For information about your trip or to change your travel plans, please call 888.662.4722 (HSBC).
Q: Will there be any downtime when the site is not available?
A: Yes, please check this page in the coming weeks. Important dates, including any downtime, will be posted here when available
Q: Will I be able to view my past Reward earning and redemptions on the new site?
A: The new site will carry over the last 90 days of Reward earning information and the last year of redemption information.
Q: Will my Rewards expire or will there be a cap on my Reward earning?
A: The Reward earning structure of HSBC credit cards is not being changed as part of this conversion. Additionally, there are no Reward earning caps and you will continue to enjoy Rewards that do not have an expiration date.
