Overview of changes

We went offline temporarily the weekend of June 8-11, 2018 to upgrade our systems. Our systems are now updated and new Online Banking features are now available.

Account Transactions

Account Transactions

Real-time Transactions Posting Updates

We are bringing more Real time transaction postings to your Online Banking experience for your Deposit accounts.  

You will no longer see ‘Pending Debit’ or ‘Pending Credit’ transactions listed in your account dashboard descriptions. With the Online Banking (both on Personal Internet Banking and the HSBC Mobile App) update, some of your debit MasterCard transactions will show up immediately, while others will post as normal. Transactions made with your debit or ATM card will be reflected immediately in your available balance. There has been no change to how check deposits are processed and will post as  per normal processing times. 

Running Balance Column Added to Deposit Accounts in Personal Internet Banking

You can now see your running balance with every transaction made on your deposit account(s), which include checking, savings and CDs, when using Personal Internet Banking on your browser. Your Running Balance will align with your Ledger Balance on your Deposit Account

Cut-off Time Extended

You now have more time to make online transfers between accounts.

The cut-off time for online transfers between accounts has been changed from 8 PM to 10 PM on both Personal Internet Banking and HSBC Mobile App


Online Data, Access, and Help

Quicken® Integration Restored  On Personal Internet Banking

Back by popular demand, Quicken® integration with HSBC has been restored.

Download your transaction history to Quicken® to manage your finances. Your transactions can be downloaded as QFX (Quicken®), CSV (spreadsheet), or QFX (Open Financial Exchange) files.

Expanded ‘My Documents’ Section in Personal Internet Banking

Expanded one stop online storage of receipts and notifications with the option to receive advices electronically in Personal Internet Banking.

Your ‘My Wires and Tax Receipts’ section in Personal Internet Banking has been renamed to ‘My Documents’ and now includes Global Transfer receipts, Term Deposit advices, future dated wire receipts, and recurring wire receipts.

Future Dated Wires on Personal Internet Banking

You now have the online option to process and manage future dated or recurring wires in Personal Internet Banking.

Wires now have a similar look and feel to the Transfers and Bill Pay options with the ability to schedule future or recurring wires instead of just the option of sending a wire ’Today’. Note: Future dated wires can only be scheduled 5 business days or more from the current business day.
