Access your HSBC Premier checking account online through Personal Internet Banking or the HSBC Mobile Banking App2, 24/7. It’s the fastest, most convenient way to view your balances, transfer funds, and pay bills3 online from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can perform secure banking transactions online, whenever and wherever you want – backed by our $0 Liability, Online Guarantee4.

Activate your debit card and add it to your digital wallet

If you have requested an HSBC Premier Debit Mastercard® card you can activate your card by phone. Follow the instructions on the activation sticker attached to your card. Once activated, you can add your Debit card to a digital wallet of your choice for convenient and secure shopping.

Fund your Premier account online or in a Wealth Center

Make a deposit to your Premier account online from Personal Internet Banking with a Bank to Bank Transfer5, Wire Transfers6, or Global Transfers7. Use HSBC Mobile Check Deposit from the Mobile Banking App2 to deposit a check via your smartphone. Or, deposit a check at an HSBC Wealth Center or ATM.

 1 To qualify for an HSBC Premier relationship, you need to open an HSBC Premier checking account and maintain:

  • Balances of $75,000 in combined U.S. consumer and qualifying commercial U.S. Dollar deposit and investment accounts; OR
  • Monthly recurring direct deposits totaling at least $5,000 from a third party to an HSBC Premier checking account(s); OR
  • HSBC U.S. residential mortgage loan with an original loan amount of at least $500,000, not an aggregate of multiple mortgages. Home Equity products are not included.
  • Consumers who maintain Jade status.

A monthly maintenance fee of $50 will be incurred if one of these requirements is not maintained.

3 Under the Bill Pay “on-time” guarantee, HSBC will bear the responsibility for any late-payment-related charges should an online bill payment arrive after its due date as long as you scheduled the transaction at least five business days prior to the payment due date. This guarantee does not apply to business clients using Bill Pay.

All HSBC Personal Internet Banking clients with an HSBC personal checking, savings, Certificate of Deposit (CD) or credit card account are automatically covered. HSBC's $0 Liability, Online Guarantee is applicable to client transactions covered by Federal Regulation E. The guarantee does not cover business and commercial accounts, accounts at other financial institutions, or accounts that are not covered under Regulation E. The $0 Liability, Online Guarantee assumes notice of fraudulent activity on eligible accounts is provided to HSBC within 60 days, and timely notice on card accounts. Assumes client follows account safeguarding, personal firewalls and online security diligence practices outlined in HSBC's Security & Fraud Center.

5 Transfer limits may apply only to transfers made online through the Bank to Bank Transfers service. HSBC reserves the right to apply a lower limit. 

6 Incoming wire transfers may be subject to fees from HSBC and non-HSBC financial institutions. Please check your account terms and charges for further details. HSBC is not responsible for these charges.

Global View and Global Transfers are only available for HSBC Premier and existing HSBC Advance clients and are not available in all countries. Foreign currency exchange rates and local country limitations may apply. Transfers from HSBC accounts from outside the U.S. may be subject to transfer fees. Personal Internet Banking is required to access Global View and Global Transfers. Access to U.S. Personal Internet Banking through Global View from outside the U.S. may be limited.

United States persons are subject to U.S. taxation on their worldwide income and may be subject to tax and other filing obligations with respect to their U.S. and non-U.S. accounts. U.S. persons should consult a tax advisor for more information.

8 Rates, discounts and loan amounts depend on specific program and may require certain personal deposit and investment balances, reserves, equity and automatic payment from an HSBC U.S. checking account.
