Who can apply?

To apply for a Premier checking account, you need to be at least 18 years old, be located in one of these countries (subject to change), and have one or more of the following:

$100,000 total relationship balance

At least $100,000 in deposits and/or investments[@investmentsdisclaimershort] with us.

$5,000 monthly direct deposits

At least $5,000 in total direct deposits[@qualdd] per month.

HSBC U.S. mortgage

An HSBC U.S. residential mortgage loan serviced by HSBC.

Private Bank status
