Fraud warning

We’ve received reports that criminals are impersonating HSBC Fraud Staff, attempting to create a sense of urgency by saying suspicious activity has occurred on the account. 

HSBC will never call you and ask for your account number, passwords, PINs, card expiration date or digital one-time passcodes. If you receive this type of call, hang up and review your account activity in mobile or online banking. You can report any unrecognized activity to us through our online chat or by calling a trusted phone number.
