How do I pay a bill?

Use the ‘Move Money’ option in your Personal Internet Banking account

Log on to Personal Internet Banking, select 'My HSBC' tab at the top left, and click on 'My Payee' under the 'Move Money' section. To make a payment you need to select the payee you wish to pay, a payment processing date, and the bill payment amount.

Global View2 is our unique service within Personal Internet Banking and our Mobile App3 that provides access to all of your linked HSBC accounts on one screen using a single log on. Global Transfers2 is available within Online Banking to transfer funds from eligible U.S. HSBC deposit accounts2 around the world with no transfer fees. Global View and Global Transfers is only available for Advance and Premier clients.

How to initiate a Wire Transfer?

Use the ‘Move Money’ option in your Personal Internet Banking account 

To initiate a Domestic or International Wire Transfer4 you need to first log on to your Personal Internet Banking account. Then select 'My HSBC' tab at the top left and click on 'Pay or transfer’ under the 'Move Money' section. Next, select the account that you’re making a payment from, click on the 'New Payee' tab, then click the 'Wire transfer' tab and follow the onscreen instructions.

To qualify for an HSBC Advance relationship, you need to open an HSBC Advance checking account and maintain combined balances in U.S. Dollar personal deposit accounts and investment* balances of at least $10,000 OR of at least $5,000 with a recurring direct deposit from a third party to an HSBC Advance checking account at least once per calendar month month OR any HSBC U.S. residential mortgage loan. Business owners may use their qualifying HSBC U.S. Dollar commercial balances to qualify for a personal HSBC Advance relationship. A monthly maintenance fee of $25 will be incurred if one of these requirements is not maintained.
