1 To qualify for an HSBC Advance relationship, you need to open an HSBC Advance checking account and maintain combined balances in U.S. Dollar personal deposit accounts and investment* balances of at least $10,000 OR of at least $5,000 with a recurring direct deposit from a third party to an HSBC Advance checking account at least once per calendar month OR any HSBC U.S. residential mortgage loan. Business owners may use their qualifying HSBC U.S. Dollar commercial balances to qualify for a personal HSBC Advance relationship. A monthly maintenance fee of $25 will be incurred if one of these requirements is not maintained.

7 The information about the costs and benefits of the card described is accurate as of {{currentDate}} . The 0% Introductory APR does not apply to cash advances and overdrafts. Balance transfers must be posted within the first 60 days following Account opening.  After the Introductory Period, a variable Purchase APR of 16.99% or 20.99%, depending on your creditworthiness, will apply to credit card purchases; and a variable Balance Transfer APR of 16.99% or 20.99%, depending on your creditworthiness, will apply to balance transfers and credit card checks, for the HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card. The variable Cash APR applies to cash advances and overdrafts, and is 26.99%. Your APRs may increase to the variable Penalty APR of 31.99% if you fail to make a minimum payment to us when due. These APRs will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate. For each billing cycle, variable APRs are calculated by adding a specified amount ("Spread") to the U.S. Prime Rate published in the Money Rates table of The Wall Street Journal that is in effect on the last day of the month ("Prime Rate"). If the Prime Rate changes, the new APRs will take effect on the first day of your billing cycle beginning in the next month. The Minimum Interest Charge is $1.00. A Balance Transfer Fee of either $10 or 3%, whichever is greater, will apply on each balance transfer and credit card check. A Cash Advance Fee of either $10 or 3%, whichever is greater, will apply on each cash advance transaction. An Overdraft Transaction Fee of either $10 or 3%, whichever is greater, will apply on the overdraft amount, if applicable. A $0 Annual Fee will apply for HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card Account customers who have a qualifying U.S. HSBC Advance1 or U.S. HSBC Premier17 checking account relationship. A $45 Annual Fee will apply for HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card Account customers who no longer have a qualifying U.S. HSBC Advance1 or U.S. HSBC Premier17 checking account relationship. The Annual Fee will not be assessed to your credit card Account within the first year of Account opening. There is no Foreign transaction Fee. See Summary of Terms for details.

8 A $0 Annual Fee will apply for HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card Account customers who have a qualifying U.S. HSBC Advance1 or U.S. HSBC Premier17 checking account relationship. 9 Global View and Global Transfers are only available for HSBC Premier and HSBC Advance clients and are not available in all countries. Foreign currency exchange rates and local country limitations may apply. Transfers from HSBC accounts from outside the U.S. may be subject to transfer fees. Personal Internet Banking is required to access Global View and Global Transfers. Access to U.S. Personal Internet Banking through Global View from outside the U.S. may be limited.

10 U.S. HSBC Advance customers can receive an emergency encashment of up to U.S. $10,000 or local currency equivalent upon authorization from local country. You will just need to show proper identification at any HSBC branch. Encashment is dependent on available balance; local country limitations may apply.

11 International account opening is not available in all countries and is subject to approval based on local regulations and policies of country or application.

12 Portable HSBC Credit History is not available in all countries. Accounts outside the United States may be opened within The HSBC Group, which operates through a network of affiliates and subsidiaries around the world.

13 Discounts and loan amounts depend on specific program and may require certain personal deposit and investment* balances, reserves, equity and automatic payment from  an HSBC U.S. checking account

17 To qualify for an HSBC Premier relationship, you need to open an HSBC Premier checking account and maintain $75,000 in combined U.S. Dollar personal deposit accounts and investment* balances OR recurring direct deposits totaling at least $5,000 from a third party to an HSBC Premier checking account(s) per calendar month OR an HSBC U.S. residential mortgage loan with an original loan amount of at least $500,000. Business owners may use their qualifying HSBC U.S. Dollar commercial balances to qualify for a personal Premier relationship. A monthly maintenance fee of $50 will be incurred if minimum balance requirements are not maintained.

18 For the first $25,000 in new purchases within the first twelve (12) months from Account opening, you will earn three (3) Rewards Program points (“points”) per dollar on dining and entertainment purchases, and two (2) points per dollar on all other purchases. After the first $25,000 in new purchases, or the first 12 months from account opening, whichever comes first, you will earn two (2) points per dollar on dining and entertainment purchases, and one (1) point per dollar on all other purchases. Points do not apply to account upgrades, account transfers, balance transfers, credit card checks, cash advances or overdrafts. Your HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card must be open and in good standing in order to earn points.

How you earn Rewards Program Points or Cash Rewards: You earn Points or Cash Rewards when you use your card to make new purchases (minus returns, credits and adjustments).
