Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note10 phones with fingerprint recognitionCollapse Expand
You may have seen recent media reports about a potential security issue with the fingerprint sensor on Samsung Galaxy S10 & Note10 phones. If you have either of these devices, we strongly recommend you disable your phone’s fingerprint authentication immediately to keep your phone and apps secure.
As a result, we’re updating our Mobile App to temporarily block access for anyone using fingerprint recognition on these types of phones. This will make sure we protect you as much as we can should your phone be misplaced with the fingerprint recognition still enabled:
- Galaxy S10
- Galaxy S10+
- Galaxy S10 5G
Logging onto the App without fingerprint recognition
You’ll still be able to access our App once this block is in place, by using your Digital Secure Passcode. Just select ‘Enter your Digital Secure Key passcode’ at the log on screen. If you’ve forgotten your passcode, you can reset it by selecting ‘Forgotten your passcode?’ and answering one of your security questions. We’ll then send you a code to allow you to update your passcode.
Samsung have confirmed they’re looking to fix the issue with a software patch and we will continue to review the situation once that patch has been released.
